About us
CohortEdge started with a simple belief: ambitious MBA applicants deserve more than scattered advice, generic templates, and guesswork. If you’re aiming for top programs, the difference is rarely “talent” - it’s having a clear strategy, sharp positioning, and the right feedback at the right time.
At the same time, we noticed something else. Current students and alumni genuinely want to help aspirants, but constant coffee-chat requests and repetitive DMs make it hard to do consistently. So we built a better model: a structured community where aspiring students get real, systematic guidance, and mentors can contribute meaningfully without being overwhelmed.
Meet the Cohort

Yashwin Thakker
Yashwin is an MBA candidate at London Business School and was also admitted to NYU Stern and Georgetown McDonough. Before LBS, he worked at MSCI in equity index quant research launching products and building data-driven frameworks, and earlier led transformation work at UBS.
After years of turning complex analysis into decisions that drive outcomes, he saw the same gap in MBA admissions: great profiles often lose because the story isn’t clear. That’s why he works with CohortEdge, helping applicants translate their experience into sharp signals of leadership, impact, and growth.
Rushil Gera
Rushil is an MBA candidate at London Business School and was also accepted into Oxford Saïd. Before LBS, he spent four years at BCG across strategy, digital transformation, value creation, and diligence, and he now supports consulting prep at LBS through the Consulting Club.
Working on high-stakes client problems taught him that outcomes depend on structure, clarity, and confidence under pressure. He brings that same approach to CohortEdge, helping applicants sharpen positioning and interview performance so they sound like future leaders, not just well-prepared candidates.

Our mentors are a curated cohort of current students and recent alumni from top MBA programs. They’ve been through the same pressure, confusion, and high stakes — and they know what actually moves the needle: school fit, storytelling, resume clarity, and interview performance.
Each mentor brings their own strengths — from school-specific insights and profile strategy to resume rewrites and mock interviews — so you’re not just getting advice, you’re getting direction.
